The image order in VDIV

I need import bunch of images into the VDIV, and the order is important for me. The files names are ordered correctly. But after I synch them into the Palm, the order is totally corrupted. Can this be fixed?

The files are synced to the PDA by Palm software, the VDI converter cannot control the order of the sync (it just convers images to Palm databases).
There is no way to guarantee the order of the images even on the PDA itself. The order depends on the order Palm OS APIs enumerate the databases.
The viewer remembers and allows user re-arrange the order of several first images by saving it in the app properties.
