No bitmap loaded & crashing

Hello,  
 
I have a Sony TJ25 (native OS5, ARM, 320*320*64k) with over 6 MB free RAM.
 
I installed the viewer 1.6b and a converted image. When starting the viewer I get for a fraction of a second a "No bitmap loaded" and an instant chrash with a black (sometimes white) screen. Only way to get out is to reset the plam.
 
I tried this with several different images, scaling them small, trying out all color modes and dithering on/off. No way.
 
Whaaaa ... pretty-please-with-sugar on top ... tell me theres a simple trick to make it run!  
 
Thanks for sharing this (probably) greate software!

As for the OS5 devices I tested the app on Tungsten W2. There are several post here about other OS5 devices the viewer works fine or has problems with.  If you do not see yours among those then it is unlikely there is an easy way to make the app work for you.
