this is an amazing program!  just what i was looking for.
but...

after i first installed it on my tungsten c, instead of reading the instructions, i tried to figure it out on my own, (yeah, perhaps a typical guy thing).
i tried writing on the pad, and everytime i did, it crashed my palm.
once i read the instructions and knew what buttons did what, it made things much easier.
anyway, just thought you might like to know.

thanks again for such an amazing program!

Thanks for letting me know. I wander if other owners of Tungsten C experience this. If there was any useful crash info please let me know. Also, does it happen when a particular image is loaded, or regardless of the image and even when no images is loaded?

That's weird. The program only calls standard system event handling routines when no images are loaded. Unlike the VDI v1.5 the v1.6 is a multisegment app, maybe there are caveats here. Next version will be compiled with upgraded prc-tools. Hopefully it will help  although I did not check if they fixed anything that could have caused this problem.
